Mrs. Gray passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Georgetown, Texas. She was born March 26, 1934, in Ada to Rixie H. and Nola Wood Suit. She lived in the Stratford area most of her life.
She married Baxter Gray. He preceded her in death in 2008. Mrs. Gray farmed and ranched with her husband and also had a real estate license. She retired as the executive secretary of the Oklahoma State School in Pauls Valley. Mrs. Gray loved crocheting, reading romance novels, playing dominoes, shorthand, daisies and Chardonnay wine.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Mae Peek and her husband, Peter, of Georgetown, Texas; and her grandchildren, Sabrina Celeste Peek of Ada, Kendra Linette Jimison of Austin, Texas, and Alicia Mackenzie Peek of Stratford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a sister.
