Lottie Deaton Bowling, age 79, of Booneville, KY, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2000, at her home. Born January 21, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Mary Sebastian Deaton. She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for over 46 years.
Survivors include her husband, Harlan Bowling of Booneville;
three sons, Donnie Bowling of Booneville, Gene Bowling of Painstville, KY, and Harlan Bowling, Jr., of Hazard, KY;
one sister, Martha Gross of Sebastians Branch, KY; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six sons.
Funeral services were Sunday, September 10, 2000, at 11:00 A.M., at Watts Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Paul Turner, John Henry Turner and Brian Turner officiating. Burial followed in the Harlan and Lottie Bowling Family Cemetery, at the Home Place. Pallbearers were friends and family.
Watts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
