Freddie Don Case

Freddie Don Case, 76, of Decatur, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016.

His visitation will be on Monday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home.

A celebration of his life will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning in the chapel of the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Rev. David Loyed is officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Case, and Velma H. Case; and sister, Betty Bryant.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elaine Duffey Case; sons, Robert W. Case(Cindy), James D. Case(Geri), and R. Scott Case(Dara); and 15 grandchildren; Brother, Charles (Buddy) Case; sister, Ann Powell; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Case loved spending time outdoors, camping with his family, and participating in Boy Scout activities with his three sons. He served his country in the Air Force overseas in Okinawa, and Thailand.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cooper Case, Brian Case, Jeff Duffey, Mike Duffey, Vaughn Goodwin, and Steve Goodwin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . St jude.org/give.
