James is not actually buried here -- this is just a memorial. He died in January 1848 in Livingston County, Missouri. He may have been buried in the Macedonia Cemetery, however, no record of this has been found at the present time.

There is another daughter, Charlotta, who married James M. John and is found in the 1850 census in Marshall County, West Virginia. I have found her children and families, however, I have not been able to find where Charlotta is buried.

Also, according to James' Probate papers there is also a son, James, but I have been unsuccessful in locating him.
