Mrs. Luella Ackerman of 357 E. Water St., died today at 11 a.m. Funeral services will be announced by the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Home.
GALESBURG REGISTER-MAIL: FEBRUARY 17, 1959

Mrs. Luella Ackerman, 87, died Monday at 11 a.m. in her home at 357 Waters St., where she had been ill for three months.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel, where friends may call this evening. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ackerman was born in Olney Sept. 2, 1871, and had lived in Galesburg for 49 years. She was married in Avon April 1, 1890, to Charles Staples Ackerman, who died in 1915. She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church.
Survivors are a son, Elwood Charles Ackerman of McCook, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Eula Emma Swanson of Galesburg and Mrs. Genevieve Glades Smith of Kansas City, Mo.; foure grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Ackerman, 87, who died Tuesday at her home at 357 E. Waters St., were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Lee Baldwin of Emmanuel Methodist Church officiated, and burial was in Linwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Lewis Lockweel, Clarence Yeager, Joseph Fagan, Everett Olin, Wilbur Williams and Kenneth Sauter. Lambert Erickson was an honorary pallbearer. Paul Lindberg sang, accompanied by Mrs. Harry Suydam.
