Gladys Marshall Bishop, 98, passed away in her sleep on Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Cedar Ridge Health Campus in Cynthiana, Ky. She was born February 13, 1918, in Pulaski, Va., to the late Lois and Ola Marshall and was preceded in death by her three siblings, Beatrice Crowder, Cosby Laxton and Otis Marshall. Gladys was married to the late Ralph Bishop and enjoyed her married years in Pulaski, where she was active in First Christian Church in Pulaski and in her community as a homemaker.Gladys is survived by her son Dr. Larry Bishop (Anna), Cynthiana, Ky.; grandchildren, Stacey Bishop Allison (Brad), Jordan Bishop (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Sarah, Elizabeth and Noah; as well as special nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016, at the First Christian Church in Pulaski, with the service to follow at 11a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, 2016, at the Cynthiana Christian Church, with visitation from 1:30 to 3 p.m. A time of fellowship will follow in "Bish Hall". In lieu of flowers, the family graciously requests donations to Marie Hehr Park Fund, c/o Cynthiana Christian Church, P. O. Box 236, Cynthiana, Ky. 41031.
