Lucile Storm Kreisle, 89, formerly of Cannelton, Indiana and Hawesville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, in Fort Myers, Florida with her family by her side.
She was born in Chambers, Kentucky, on January 15, 1927. Her parents were the late Rev. Virgil and Julia (Swihart) Storm. Also preceding her in death was her husband of 63 years, Donald Kreisle; sister, IvaGene Bolin and brother, William Storm.
Lucile graduated from Cannelton High School. As a young woman, she worked at the “Curtain Factory” and General Electric. But her very favorite job was being a homemaker for her husband, Donald, and only child Donna Lou. Later, she took great pride in her grandchildren, John and Julie.
After the death of her husband in 2011, she lived with her daughter in Florida. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Cannelton and Hawesville Baptist Church. Her very favorite activity was attending Gospel Sings.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Huber Funeral Home, Cannelton Chapel, with burial in Mount Eden Cemetery in Hawesville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday and from 9:00 until 11:00 AM on Saturday.
