He was born July 26, 1966, in Lima, the son of James E. Reier of St. Marys and Gail Hanning of Tennessee.
He is survived by his parents; his stepmother, Marie Reier; a sister, Deb (Ron) Sawmiller of St. Marys; a niece, Brooke Sawmiller; a nephew, Tyler Sawmiller; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Cyril Reier, and Flora and Ray Hanning.
Lonny was a 1985 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a licensed realtor for Century 21 in Indianapolis, and was a shipping and receiving manager for Quaker Oats in Indianapolis.
He enjoyed old luxury cars, gardening and yard work.
A Catholic, he was baptized at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Wapakoneta.
Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys.
