Alvie Ray Trammell, 85 year old resident of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, died April 8, 2016 at his home.
Born February 28, 1931 in Gentry, Arkansas, he was the son of Luther George Trammell and Thelma Sutherland Trammell.

Alvie joined the Army Air Corps during the Korean Conflict, and was honorably discharged from the Air Force. He married Loretta Maxine Bailey. Alvie worked full time as a truck driver and part time as a farmer. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Trammell, of the home; one son, Luther Ray Trammell and wife Juanita of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; two daughters, Juna Hamilton and husband Clarence of Pineville, Missouri, and Caron Gremillion of Louisiana; one sister, Ethel Ogle of Springdale, Arkansas; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the service will be Jeff Reed, Jared Hamilton, Earl Trammell, Mark Thrailkill, Kaiden Thrailkill, and John Reed.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas with Bro. Chet Johnson officiating. Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
