William August Frederick Prahl, 75, 828 Park St., (540 East), died of a heart ailment Friday, 2:55 a.m., in a Salt Lake hospital. Born Feb. 28, 1887, Hamburg, Germany, to William A. and Maria Michel Prahl. Married Mary Haws Dec. 28, 1918, Tuscon, Ariz. Later solemnized, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Came to Utah in 1906. High Priest, South Second LDS Ward. Veteran, World War I. Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Frederick M., Portland, Ore.; Gottfried, Mrs. Coy (Elizabeth E?a) Schofield, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. Howard (Maria Martha) Fikstad, East Layton; 21 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Erna M. Sar?or, Salt Lake City. Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., South Second LDS Ward Chapel, 704-5th East. Friends call 2128 S. State, Sunday, 6-8 p.m., Ward Chapel Monday one hour prior to services. Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
