Sally was the daughter of Dura and Sarah (Dillingham) Bradford. She married Charles Cary on Dec. 2, 1837 in Turner, Maine. Sally and her husband Charles were the parents of 2 children. Their son Charles Knowlton Cary was born on Dec. 26, 1838 in Turner, and their daughter Mary B. Cary Clark was born in 1840. They moved to Carthage and raised their family there.

Sally's place of death was 41 Pleasant St. Orange, Massachusetts. She was a widow at the time of her death, and living with her son Charles Cary. (Her son, Charles, was still living in Orange, MA in 1920 and died in the 1920s. He had a son, Hiram Gerrish Cary, born March 25, 1885 in Maine.)
