Ken married Josephine Reynolds. They made their home at 105 Wood Street in Ithaca. They had two children, Dawn Reynolds Paolangeli and Kenneth "Dick" Barber.
Ken was a baseball star with the early Eagles team in Ithaca. He was actively involved in bowling in the Ithaca area for over 50 years. He bowled 14 perfect 300 games, 13 of them right-handed and 1 left-handed.
Ken Barber died January 13, 1991 and is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Ithaca.
