Surviving are his wife, Nettie; four children, James B. and Doyle V. Johnson, both of Stockton, Loreda McWhorter of Pacific Grove, and Glenna Mae Fletcher of Salinas; his father, Thomas A. Johnson, of South San Francisco, and brothers and sisters, Jewel Johnson of Stockton, Elster Johnson of South San Francisco, Pauline Johnson of San Francisco, Ester Knuckols of Pacifica, and Hugh and Harmon Johnson of Oregon.
