Feb. 14, 1939 - April 8, 2016 A Mass of Christian burial for Daniel Harry Kohr Jr. will be 2 pm, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Pine Crest Funeral Home with Deacon Ed Connick officiating, burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night at the funeral home from 6-8 pm. Daniel Harry Kohr Jr. was born February 14, 1939 in Harrisburg, Pa. and departed this life April 8, 2016. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Helen Donald Kohr, his mother Betty Kohr and his father Daniel Harry Kohr Sr., 3 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his son Gregory Kohr and his daughter Lisa Kohr Cazalas; One granddaughter, Amanda Cazalas Lampton; Two brother in-laws Michael (Vicky) Donald, Hubbard (Dorothy) Donald and a host of nieces and nephews but two special nieces, Meredith and Lindsey Donald. Known by his friends as Dan. He was raised in New Cumberland, PA and joined the US Navy in 1956.He met his wife while stationed in Foley, AL at NAS Barin Field and has called Mobile home ever since. He was a member of St Dominic Catholic Church, Vice President of VFW Post 49, The Knights of Columbus #3565 and The American Legion Post 76. He was a GM parts manager with Trail Pontiac-Cadillac for 25 years and then Dees Tire and Supply and TBA Supply for the next 20 years.
