Mrs. Lena M. (Testa) Guerrera, 95, formerly a longtime resident of Wilkenda Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Masonicare of Newtown. She was the widow of Anthony "Tony the Barber" Guerrera, who died May 21, 2003.

Lena was born in Waterbury on July 24, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph and Marietta (Petrocelli) Testa. She was a proud housewife having raised two daughters.

She worked as a waitress along with her sister-in-law, Ellie and sister, Antoinette, at Ellie-Ann's Luncheonette and later at the Campus Luncheonette from 1971 until her retirement when she was 80 years old.

She took great pleasure in attending her grandchildren's sporting events, especially her grandson Frankie and continued with Holy Cross girls basketball that he coached. She enjoyed trips to the casino with her sister-in-law, Ellie, and other family members.

She is survived by her daughters, Judith "Judy" Lombardo and her husband Frank, of Waterbury and Rosemary Capaldo of Wolcott; a brother, Anthony Testa and his wife MaryJane, of Waterbury; a sister, Antoinette Massimo and her husband John, of Middlebury; four grandchildren, Frank Lombardo and his wife Cheryl of Watertown, Lori Crysler and her husband Edward, Jodi Capaldo and her partner Rob Muccino Jr. and Alissa Capaldo, all of Waterbury; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Salvatore, Joseph and Fred Testa and two sisters, Josephine Mancini and Jean DiPietro.
