Hi Family,

Just wanted to share that my Momma died early this Friday morning - 3:30 CST at her residence in Janesville, Wisconsin with Rick by her side. She had chest pains at 3 PM on Wednesday. And, Friday morning her heart stopped. Mom did not suffer. Magnificently she had her memory until the end! It was a joy to talk with her. She was so kind, loving and patient! Everyone said that she was "a lady".

Rick was unbelievable in his tending to her all of these past few years - sleeping beside her hospital bed on the couch! Randy was there at every need, as well. And, my sister for her nursing help. She had care-takers 24-7 who embraced her holistic diet with mostly raw and cooked organic vegetables and fruit that I helped to coach. Lori Kraus became like a daughter in tending to Mom. Thank you my friend, Randi Phillips, for Sponsoring this Memorial page for our Mother! Thank you all.

She lived a wonderful life and she thanks all of you for your family love and the pursuit for working on the family tree with her. She and Rick wrote her obituary some time ago! It is a wonderful tale of a life well-lived. It reads more like a resume with her unending energy and talents!

It looks like her farewell service will be in one week. Must be those flowers that the brothers are ordering! :O) {Amazon Lilies were her favorite.} They are setting the arrangements this afternoon, but it looks like Visitation will be Wednesday and a private service on Thursday at the flower shop. The same as we did with Dad. There will be Sylvia, the harp player during visitation. And, hundreds of her life-long family photographs will be displayed.

There should be no sadness or tears! Momma celebrated her life everyday with all of the people and activities she loved and was involved in! When us four kids go home for her funeral -- I guarantee it will be a "Celebration of Life"!

Thank you all for being a part of our lives in this journey...Family love, Wendy
