Lana Cheryl Province 67, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born June 15, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late Jack Edwin and Billie Jean Bryant. She worked for many years for Jonesboro Sun as well as an advertising executive in Memphis. A member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church since she was eight years old, proud of being a member of the Girls in Action and had perfect attendance in Sunday School. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Lesli Province of Jonesboro and Lance Province (Hannah) of Eads, Tennessee; two grandsons, Ethan Province and Luke Province both of Eads; a sister, Dinah Rushing (Jimmie); a brother, Marty Bryant (Vanessa) all of Jonesboro; nephews, Bryant Rushing (Jennifer) and Kyle Bryant (Symanthia); a niece, Mikcca Craft (Kevin) all of Jonesboro; great-nieces and nephews, Lillie Craft, Lucie Craft, Gavin Bryant and Aiden Bryant; father of her children, Wendel Province.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am Friday, April 1, 2016 at Walnut Street Baptist Church with Dr. Glen Putman, Rev. Allen Elkins and Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Kyle Bryant, Bryant Rushing, Kevin Craft, Kaleb Reed, Rob Cottam and Douglas Davis.
