Loyd T. Harris departed this life on April 6, 2016 at the age of 91 with his family by his side. He had a full and joyful life and although we mourn his death we celebrate his life.

In addition to his parents, his wives, Merna and Mildred, Loyd was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Elaine Harris, three brothers, Howard, Richard, and Billie and one sister Helen Harris Ross.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 11, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the ParkPlace Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairlawn Cemetery Association or the Avery Cemetery Association in his memory.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Floyd Family Center, east of the Funeral Home.
Services are under the direction of the Davis Funeral Home.
