Clara Louise Adams Carter, age 78, passed away surrounded by her family on October 9, 2010 in Provo, Utah. She is reunited with her daughters, Sarah Lynn and Clarissa May. Born July 13, 1923 in Globe, Arizona to George Rudger and Ruby May Hancock Adams. She was the fifth of 12 children.

She met Melvin Winsor Carter on a hay ride. They fell in love and were married in the Mesa, Arizona Temple on December 15, 1950. Each of them was the center of each other's life. Clara is a dedicated and loving mother to 15 children, grandmother to 64 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 8.
