Ret. SFC Michael P. Gibson Sr. passed away October 6, 2006. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 22 years. He graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1968. He was born in Deerlodge, TN. to Raymond E. and Winnie (Hurst).

He is survived by his wife, Karin B. Gibson of Mustang, five children; Michael and Sheryl Gibson of Harrah, OK, Geoffrey and Melissa Gibson of Mustang, Shelli Gibson of Mustang, Markus and Amber Schroeder of Minco and Rena Gibson of Mustang. Also by six grandchildren he loved very much; Dakota, Tyler, Kyle, Destiny, Rebekah and Brandy, by three brothers Raymond Gibson, of Norman, William and Anita Gibson, of San Antonio, TX. and Ricky Gibson of OKC, and one sister Minnie Dobbs of OKC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Nancy Bond.

Services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2pm in The Chapel of The Good Shepherd at McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, Oklahoma.
