He was born on January 29, 1935 in Beham, PA a son of the late Alex J. and Mary Emma Clovis Berghoff.
He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporation where he worked in the lab. Alex was a member of the Tri-State Church of God in Wintersville, OH and an army veteran.
Surviving is his wife, Nannette S. (Banfi) Berghoff at home. One Brother, Gerald Berghoff of West Alexander, PA Two Sisters, Mary K. Kimmins of Valley Grove, WV Bonnie Riggle of Houston, TX Several Nieces and Nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 6th from 5-8 P.M. at the James Funeral Home 1245 Main St. Follansbee, WV where Services will be held on Thursday, September 7th at 11:00 A.M. with Rev.
