I don't hear her call my name now, the way she use to do. I hear her voice in my heart, and I know she hears me too. Eight months since I held mama's hand and yet she seems so close, It's the little "mama's sayings" and her smile I miss the most. I hear myself laugh sometimes, like mama use to do. So many things I see in me now, are mama through and through. Her deep family devotion and her patience tho I know, are gifts of hers I cannot match, how ever old I grow. It's just knowing in my heart now, that mama is at peace; away from all the worry, the sorrow and the grief. It makes the load seem lighter, when I thank GOD above, for giving me a mama with a heart so full of love. I don't hear her call my name now, the way she use to do, but I will her keep her in my heart, until we meet anew. DLB Nov 13 2016
