FORMER LOCAL WOMAN DIES
Mrs. Parrie A. Cross Passes at Home Near Lumpkin
Lumpkin, Ga. June 6 -- Mrs. Parrie A. Cross, 78, died at her home near Lumpkin yesterday after an illness of several weeks. She was the widow of H. M. Cross of Columbus.
Mrs. Cross had been a citizen of this section for the past two and half years, having moved here from Columbus where she had resided for a number of years.
Surviving are one daughter and four sons, Miss Bessie Cross of Columbus; Messrs, A. B. Cross of Georgetown, Ga.; W. F. Cross of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and H. T. and H. M. Cross of near Lumpkin.
Funeral services will be held at the residence near Lumpkin at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning; Rev. L. N. Hartsfield, pastor of Lumpkin Baptist church officiating ; interment about 12 o'clock in Riverdale cemetery in Columbus. per: Lois Goodin Hottinge
