AGE 94 YEARS
Alice Z. (Malagodi) Falco formerly of Somerville and Arlington, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sun, April 3, 2016, at Brightview Concord River.
She was the wife of the late Albert F. Falco who died in 2010.
Alice was the only child of Louis and Esther (Collina) Malagodi, both of Italy.
She grew up in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School before going to work at the credit office at Sears Roebuck.
Alice also worked in the cafeteria at St. Anthony elementary school in Somerville before moving to Arlington and joining the cafeteria staff there. She returned to work at St. Anthony as school secretary where she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the children until her retirement.
Alice was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony Parish where she was a dedicated volunteer for many years at their Holiday Bazaar and weekly Bingo.
Alice enjoyed preparing special meals for her family and friends, especially at holidays.
She had a knack for painting and wallpapering and loved to redecorate her home frequently.
She also enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, doing yard work, spending time at the ocean and traveling with her family and many close friends.
Alice leaves her two sons, Joseph Falco and his wife Rozanne of Plymouth, and David Falco and his wife Kathleen of Chelmsford. She was a devoted Grammy to two grandsons also of Chelmsford.
Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
