ANTHONY, Allen Eugene - 73, Mill Village, Queens Co., passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2003, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Milton, he was a son of the late Edward and Maggie (Wamboldt) Anthony. He was employed by Bowater Mersey as a surveyor. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He enjoyed the outdoors and working in the garden. He is survived by his wife, the former Sylvia Croft; daughters, Valerie (Mrs. Warren), London, Ont.; Brenda Scott (Terry Chisolm), Dartmouth; Nadine Croft, Charleston; sons, Timmy, Calvin (Darlene), Charleston; Leslie (Margaret), Eastern Passage; grandchildren, Dwayne Martin, London; Ont.; Sherry Fougere, Dartmouth; Nicole Anthony and Chantel Morash, Charleston; great-grandchild, Justin Fougere, Dartmouth; sister, Helen Hoyle; brother, Tommy (Irene), Milton. He was predeceased by sisters, Edith, Barbara, Emily. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, where funeral service will also be held Saturday, May 3, at 10 a.m., Rev. Douglas Porter officiating. Burial will be in New Charleston Community Cemetery, Charleston, Queens Co. Donations may be made to Kidney Foundation of Canada, Nova Scotia Branch or a charity of your choice.
