Nola Pauline Cole the daughter of Robert and Florence (Moore) Crisp was born January 26, 1923 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 20, 2016 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 93 years, 9 months and 23 days.


Pauline loved life and was very devoted to her family and to her career. She enjoyed many things such as reading, quilting, playing the piano, and scrabble. She was very dedicated to the Lord and devoted to her church, Liberty Grace Chapel. She graduated High School in 1940 from Tulsa Central and went on to Northeastern State University earning a Bachelor's Degree in 1955 and later earned a Master of Education Degree in Counseling. Mrs. Cole was a professional Educator for over 30 years at Tahlequah High School and was a member of the OEA, NEA and Oklahoma Retired Teachers, as well as Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority and the Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers Sorority. She was a Gold Star Mother and served on the VFW Auxillary and was a member of the Liberty Extension Homemakers Club. She touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.


She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George W. Cole, husband Elmer ''Bub'' Frank and husband Alton J. Cole; her son Lewis Edward Cole; her sister Maxine Franklin and her grandson John Robert Cole.


Funeral Services for Nola Pauline Cole will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday November 23, 2016 in the Hart Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Moody's Cemetery under the care and direction of Hart Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
