Ruby was born in Lee on July 13,1924, daughter to John and Lena (Lasher) Wheeler. She was educated in Lee Schools. Ruby's Husband, Howard E. Nourse Sr. whom she married on November 05, 1942 in the Methodist Parsonage in Lee predeceased her on October 29, 1991. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog Kandy. Ruby is survived by one son Howard Nourse Jr. of Dalton, three daughters, Linda DiVirgilio of West Stockbridge, Nancy Carpenter of West Stockbridge and Winifred Nourse of Sarasota FL, nine grandchildren thirteen great grandchildren.
