He was the first child of immigrant Henry Luther Martin Bohmann(Hamburg, Germany) and Julia Johanna Schaefer (Ontario, Canada). He was followed by two sisters Martha (1917) and Ruth (1920).
Henry was a career Navy man. He was in the service about 23 years.
While in the Navy he met (in California)and married Regina Hastings on Oct. 5, 1935 in Yuma, Az.. Henry and Regina divorced in Boston, Ma (Mar, 1938). He had one child with Regina - Henry Martin Bohman born Nov.9, 1936 in California. He then met Muriel Heap in Boston. They had one child - Julie Ann Bohman born July 27, 1939 in Boston. Muriel and Henry married Mar 10, 1941 in Boston. After Muriel's death on May 21, 1941 from TB, Henry met and married (May 31, 1945-NY) Montana Maria Priolo (Reggio, Italy). They had 3 children - Maria Angela Bohman born July 17, 1946 in Brunswick, Maine- Henry Luther Bohman born Dec. 6, 1947 in Rhode Island and Linda Elaine Bohman born Jan 1, 1950 in Portsmouth, Va.
Henry was initiated into the Grand Lodge of Masons-Maj Gen Henry Knox in Bosotn Massachusetts.
Henry left the service in August 1954 and died shortly after in Norfolk Virginia on Sep 06, 1954.
