She married George Washington Canup about 1857. They had 3 children Mary Susan, John B and George Cicero Canup.
George died as a POW in 1864 in Illinois.
Matilda married Isaac M Teague about 1866 and they moved to Bartow County, GA. Isaac took the children in and raised them as his own and John and George Cicero took on the name Teague in 1880. Mary Susan had already gotten married and moved out of the family home.

No marker remains but I personally witnessed the grave as a child.
