Hold Committal Services for A.S. Nowels
Funeral services for the late Arthur S. Nowels were held at the DeMoney-Holingsworth Funeral Home Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. B.V. Widney, staff organist at the funeral home, presented a postlude and prelude of selected music. The Rev. Dale C. Beatty, pastor of the Trinity Methodist Church of which the deceased was a member, officiated at the rites. Local businessmen who served as pall bearers were Forest Orr, Paul Morsches, George Shriver, John Leininger, Walter Langohr, Jack Peabody, Nile Schrader, and William Worden. The interment was on the family lot in the Greenhill cemetery.
