THORNHILL, James, 82, passed away Monday, October 3, 2005. Preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Anglin Thornhill, he is survived by a brother, Boone Thornhill of Elkton, Ky.; a sister, Ruth Camp of Clarksville, Tenn.; a stepson, Thomas (Julie) Anglin of Townsend, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Sandra McLaughlin of Palatka, Fla.; and four stepgrandsons, Robert (Pamela) McLaughlin, Thomas McLaughlin, Toby Anglin and Ben Anglin, all of Tampa. Mr. Thornhill was a painting contractor, and had served on the USS Fogg in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Central Christian Church and a life member of American Legion Post 111. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today (Friday) at the graveside at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa.
