SEMINOLE -- C.P. "Pete" Wallace, 90, formerly of Roscoe, died Friday in a local care facility.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in South Seminole Baptist Church with the Rev. Shane Kinnison officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Roscoe Cemetery, directed by Roger Pool Funeral Home.

Mr. Wallace was born in Cooper and married Odell Miller in 1927 in Roscoe. He moved to Seminole in 1954 from Springer, N.M., and farmed until retiring in 1988. He was a member of South Seminole Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, of Seminole; three daughters, Ada Mogford of Seminole, Claudell Moore of Ontario, Calif., and Janice Jackson of Odessa; five sisters, Bessie Huie and Dolly Jackson, both of Cooper, Cora Coomer of Greenville, Della Faye Gilmore of Graford and Snook Wilson of Paris, Texas; two brothers, Preston Wallace of Grand Prairie and Toby Wallace of Paris, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
