SANTA ANNA -- Funeral services for Lena Mae Ohlhausen, age 92 of Bangs, Texas, will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Rocky Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Rick Justice. Interment will follow at Santa Anna Cemetery, under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna.

Lena passed away at 1:40 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2009, at Songbird Lodge in Brownwood, Texas.

Lena was born Dec. 5, 1916, in Rockwood, Texas, to the late Jim and Alma Kathryn Behrens Ramsey. She was raised in Whon and McCulloch County. She attended school in Voca. On Sept. 9, 1939, she was married to Charlie Henry Ohlhausen in Brady, Texas, and they celebrated 43 years of marriage. Charlie preceded her in death in 1982. Lena has been a resident of Bangs since 1958 moving there from Mason County. She was a housewife and a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church where she served as a devoted nursery worker.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy and husband Tommy McMillan of Coleman; son, Charles Ray Ohlhausen of Bangs; five sisters, Jeanette Shaw of Voca, Velma Poe of Sugarland, Margaret Pierce of Oregon, Jimmie Faye Hill of Oklahoma, and LaRue George of Brownwood; six brothers, James Ramsey of Brady, Pete Ramsey of Brownwood, Bobby Ramsey of Brownwood, Boyd Ramsey of Glen Cove, Donnie Ramsey of Oregon, and Billie Ramsey of Oregon; granddaughter, Krystal McMillan of Irving; two grandsons, Todd and wife Sherry McMillan of Santa Anna, and Wayne and wife Mary McMillan of Albuquerque, N.M.; four great-grandchildren.
