CHARLES RICHARD LARRABEE DIED SATURDAY

This portion of Benton county was shocked by the news that Charles R. Larrabee, former postmaster and merchant at Ronneby had passed away on Saturday, October 23, 1909 at Davenport, Iowa, where he had gone several months ago to receive treatment, death being due to consumption.

Mr. Larrabee was born at Alma City forty-two years ago and had been a resident of Ronneby for a number of years, having conducted a hardware store at that place until four months ago when he disposed of his business on account of failing health, at the same time resigning the postmaster ship.

He was a man of sterling qualities who leaves a host of friends to mourn his untimely death.

The funeral was held from the Christian church on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. and was very largely attended, it being under the direction of the M. S. A. and R. N. A. lodges of which the deceased was an honored and influential member.

The deceased leaves to mourn his death a widow, Mrs. Mary Larrabee; three children, Gladys, Everett and Stewart; his mother, Mrs. J. P. Hurt; three brothers and three sisters, Alvin W. and B. F. "Frank" of Ronneby and William, who resides at Milaca; Mrs. Willis E. (Ella) Simpkins, of Lake Preston, S. D., Mrs. Milton J. (Martha) Baldwin of Centralia, Wash., Mrs. John H. (Isabelle) Fields of St. Clair, Minn.

The afflicted relatives have the sincere sympathy of the entire community.
