Elmer H. Kuech of Homewood passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the age of 77. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Brustat); 1 daughter, Cheryl Maibusch of Hinsdale; 2 sons, Gary of Monee and David of Homewood. Grandfather of Alex, Kieron, Gary and Jacob. His sisters, Helen Carlson of Highland, IN and Betty Dortmann of Mokena. Uncle to Linda Wittrock, Dawn Carlson and Valerie Harbin. He was Principal and teacher in several Lutheran Schools: New Berlin, IL, Bridgeport, CT and Country Club Hills, IL and later worked as an over the road trucker. During his life he enjoyed cooking, gardening and visiting with folks. Pastor Peter Dorn officiating. Burial St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
