Mr. Walton was born at Presque Isle March 1, 1919, son of Philip and Blanche (Ireland) 'Walton. He lived here most of his life and had served with the U. S. Infantry during World War II.
He is survived by his widow, Irma (Higgins) Walton; his I mother;. three sons, Jeffrey, Jonathan and Darren; two daughters, Jane and Jennifer; two step-daughters, Deborah I. Jackson and Bonnie Jackson; two brothers, Ralph and Philip Jr.; all of Presque Isle; two sisters, Mrs. Phyllis Craig of Presque Isle and Mrs. Ruth Sexton of Burlington, N. C.; and several aunts, uncles and Cousins.
Friends may call at the Graves Funeral Home Thursday from 1 to 9 p. m.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the funeral home Friday at 2 p. m., with the Rev. James A. Blinn Pastor, of the Reformed Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
