He was born June 16, 1953 to Grant Gordon and Jean Lucille Grinstead Dean in Burlington. On February 8, 1975 he married Donna Diane Henessee in Danville.
Mr. Dean worked at GE, Heatilator, helped his father-in-law farm, and worked at his dad's Conoco Station in Danville. He enjoyed photography, mushrooming, all aspects of hunting and fishing, bow hunting, cutting firewood, his four wheeler and motorcycle and being with his grandkids.
He graduated from Danville High School in 1972.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
