Funeral services for Janey Mildred Dollins Jonhson, 57, of Easter Ferry Road, Lester, will be Saturday, August 3, at Spry Chapel with Van Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 p.m.
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday, july 31, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1939, in Giles County, Tennessee, and was a seamstress. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, L. A. Johnson, Falkville; her mother, Sloma Bell "Pinky" Dollins, Lester; three daughters, Kay Newbourne Hill, Lester, Kimberly Crawford Fletcher, Athens, and Kristal McGuire Widner, Danville; three brothers, David Dollins and Roy Dollins, both of Lester, and Terry Dollins, Minor Hill; eight grandchildren, several nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be cousins and nephew.
