Orville (Bud) Jeffers was born to Earl Jeffers and Mary Elizabeth Myrtle Orr and was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He Had 15 brothers and sisters. He married Leona May Pruitt August 01, 1946 in Hiawatha, Kansas. They had six children, Alice Marie, Gary Duane,Orville Dean, Earl Dauglas, Charlene Kay, Joe. After leaving Iowa, they moved to Southern Calif. Due to a work related accident, Bud was forced to retire at a early age. He kept himself busy with his many hobbies. He was a man of many talents. He could sew his own cloths, created many lovely rock and copper sculptures. Seems as though all he had to do is look at something and he could make it. What a talent! And Oh how he loved his family.
