KEMMERER, Paul C., age 91 of Port Richey, FL passed away March 27, 2016 at Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center. He was born In Lehighton, PA and came to the area from Palmerton, PA in the 1980’s. He was a truck driver for Quinn Trucking Company. He served in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division at the time of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion in Port Richey, FL, and the Jersey Club of Spring Hill, FL. He was married to the late Genevieve Kemmerer for 35 years. Predeceased by 6 brothers and 4 sisters; Mr. Kemmerer is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Michael and Rae Kemmerer of Snellville, GA: daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy and Ed Bauer of Somerset, NJ; Beverley and Donald Kemmerer of Schickshshinny, PA; June Ann Jackson of Ocala, FL; Gail and Donald Gesicki of Somerset, NJ: companion: Jennie Mazza; 11 grandchildren: Keith, Kyle, Kelly, Jaclyn, Lindsey, Wendy (deceased), Paul, Jamie, Joey Jessica, Corissa, Stephanie and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 1-3:00Pm and 5-7:00pm at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, April 1, 2016. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VA.gov.
