Olivene was a colorist for black and white photography at Maddigan's in Wisconsin, retiring after 30 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topeka.
Olivene married Oscar W. Albrecht on September 25, 1949 in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two children, Aaron Albrecht, Stewart, MN and Dr. Ann Reyes, Cheyenne, WY; one grandson, Che' M. Reyes, two granddaughters, Cassidy and Jessica Albrecht and one sister, Waunita Shoemaker, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Maurita Jones and Don Morey.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Powhattan Cemetery, Powhattan, KS. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.
