J. T. (John Thomas) Jones, 90, of Russellville, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. He was born February 10, 1926, at Ward, Alabama, to George Price and Lois Marie Watkins Jones. He was a member of Second Baptist Church since 1971 and was a United States Army veteran of WW II. He was a retired construction superintendent for ConTel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 64 years, Maxine Omo Jones; a daughter, Barbara Jones Trenchard; and a grandson, Trey Trenchard.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jamie Jones of Wylie, Texas, Glenn and Toni Jones of Andrews, Texas and Doug Jones of Garfield, Arkansas; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Mike Fultz of Clarksville; a son-in-law, Robert Trenchard Jr., of El Paso, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Second Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Jonathan Whitlock, the Rev. Al Ray Taylor and the Rev. Robin Foster. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park, by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
