William J. Abney, son of the late Howard and Bethel Clay Rushman Abney, passed away Saturday, July 10, 1993 at the age of 39.
Survivors include a son, Mark Joseph Abney; five sisters, Betty Reffit, Mary Nichting, Deborah Christine Nichting, Martha O'Connell and Jorene White; two brothers, Treffert and Russell Abney; 23 nieces and nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews. Also, a long and dear friend, Pat Droppleman-Helton.
Besides his parents, William was preceded in death by a son, William M. Abney.
Friends may call at the Thomas Funeral Home, 4418 Whetsel Ave., Tuesday, from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Margaret of Cortona, 4100 Watterson St.
