Mr. Gerald Henry Allen was born on January 31st, 1939 in Orlando, KY., a son of the late Bev B. Allen and Mary H. Carpenter Allen. He married Margaret Allen on September 10, 1986. He was a fork lift operator for Bluegrass Army Depot. He was a member of the Holiness faith and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to church and being a family man.
Mr. Gerald Henry Allen was survived by his wife: Margaret Allen of Brodhead, KY; first wife: Lillian Ruby Dees; four daughters: Ruby D. Allen of Brodhead, KY., Elizabeth F. Allen of Brodhead, KY., Mary Frances Reynolds (Marty) of Somerset, KY. and Angela Lamb (William) of Berea, KY.; six sons: Randy W. Allen of Brodhead, KY., Gerald Allen Jr. (Lynnie Carol) of Conway, KY., Bev Thomas Allen (Sharon) of Berea, KY., James Timothy Allen (Linda) of Copper Creek, KY., Bobby Gene Allen of Berea, KY. and Donald Jesse Allen (Jennifer) of Somerset, KY; two brothers: Claude T. Allen of Florida and John Thomas Allen (Carolyn) of Georgia; four sisters: Nettie Mae Smith of Stanford, KY., Louise Allen of Junction City, KY., Jessie Conway (Paul) of Danville, KY. and Mildred Allen of Danville, KY.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Gerald Henry Allen was preceeded in death by his parents; two sisters: Mary L. Roller and Lily Marilyn Allen and one brother: Lamont Allen.
