Walter was the son of the late Walter David and Rose (Bridge) Anderson. He married the former Olwen Joyce Evans on August 16th 1952. Mr. Anderson graduated from Reading High School. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was the owner and president of Valley Toyota, Inc.
Mr. Anderson was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. He was also a member of various civil and automobile racing organizations.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Mark R.D. Anderson of Selinsgrove: two daughters, Elizabeth Rose Anderson of Selinsgrove and Bronwen Anderson of Easton Md., and one sister, Dorothy Baldwin of Wyomissing Hills.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
