Bobby Dean "Bob" Haney, 72, husband of Debra J. Haney, of 101-B Wimbleton Road., Union, passed away at his home, Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006.

Mr. Haney was born in Buffalo, July 13, 1934, a son of the late William Rufus "Doc" Haney and Dorothy Gregory Haney.

He was the former owner and operator of Bob's Gulf and Bob's Exxon Stations in Buffalo for many years. He was a member of the Improved Order of Redmen and Woodmen of The World.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Perry Haney and wife Vickie, Jo Good and Lynn Bobo, all of Union; three step-children, Neal Armstrong, Sherry Armstrong and Amanda Armstrong; two grandsons: Stephen Haney and Neal Bobo; and seven step-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept 28, 2006 at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Robert Jarvis, the Rev. Jerry Lawson and the Rev. John Cribb. Burial will be in Putman Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Ricky Tucker, Neal Armstrong, Mike Pearson, Mike Nichols, Harold Lawson and Don Hyder.
The following are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 2:45 p.m. Thursday to form the honorary escort: Hugh Sanders, Steve Trammell, Maurice Hyder, Willie Scales, Gene Gregory, Carroll Caldwell, Mike Lowe, and James Vaughn.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 this evening at the S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
