Judy Faye Mays was born October 18, 1950 in Hamilton, OH and departed this life Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her daughter's residence in Sand Gap, being 65 years of age. She was the daughter of the Lucy (Angel) Harrison of Sand Gap and of the late Elmer Clemmons.
In addition to her mother, Judy is also survived by her loving daughter, Danetta Cunnigan and husband Richard of Sand Gap and by a sister, Victoria Hieronymus of Sand Gap. Judy was blessed with two grandchildren, Gregory David Mays and wife Jessie and Janetta Leann Cunnigan and by five great grandchildren.
Other than her father, Judy was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Palmer "Doc" Mays and by her son, Greg Mays.
Judy was a member of the Old Orchard Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral service 1:00PM Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Hanson officiating. Burial followed in the Mays Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
