Born April 16, 1963, in Catawba County, he was a son of Mildred Adams Rink of Hickory and the late Adrian Rink.
He worked for Grasche USA as a supervisor.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Tammy Rink and Darryl Rink of Hickory and Danny and Janet Rink of Taylorsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Cade Huffman of Newton; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church ELCA. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
