Wallace married Lorraine Schwegel on Apr. 19, 1930 in Cook Co., Ill. and they had two daughters Jackie and Phyllis.
Wallace's mother Zulah was born Nov. 19, 1881 in Smith Center, Smith Co., KS. She married Irvin Oliver Thayer on Jan. 17, 1903 in Chicago, Ill. Her father was John Wesley Walker b. 1841 in PA. and her mother was Cornelia Parker b. 1844 in Ill. Zulah passed away a May 9, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. She is buried in Acadia as well.
