RUST, Gregory F. 65, of Hamilton, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 19. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Helen Rust. Greg is survived by his children, Martin Rust, Karen (James) Tsiang and Anna Rust; brothers, Richard Rust, John (Cindy) Rust and Stanley (Valerie) Rust as well as granddaughters, Candice Collins and Lilibeth Tsiang. He retired as a teacher from the Huber Heights school system after 35 years of service. Greg grew up in Oxford and graduated from Talawanda High School in 1969. He attended Miami University in Oxford, OH where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1973 and Masters in Education in 1975. Greg was an avid fan of NASCAR and had an intense interest in history and his family's geneology. He was devoted to the family cats, Sleepy and Shadow. Greg will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Ivey Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Rd, Hamilton on Saturday, March 26 from 11am until 12pm with a memorial service commencing at 12pm. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Hamilton.
